so i'm standing outside of the bar, next to santa clause, and a table covered in cookies. i'm in my ugg boots, white tights, black skirt, green sweater, and a santa hat, and i'm clearly under dressed then the other elves. but we are all trying to get the bar comers, to pay 5 bucks to take a picture with us, to help benefit my friends dance company and invisible children.
and after and hour of freezing,a lot of no's and like one yes, someone had the brill ant idea of moving the fundraiser inside.
now being that i'm 20, going inside of the bar to fund raise, didn't really seem like and option, but i tried, i grabbed the stuff and as the door man was checking ids, i followed the head elf as she lead me inside.
my nearly froze body was happy to find some heat. and after some greetings with other friends who were inside, a couple of pictures, this blue eyed Australian guy out of no where grabbed by hat and ran off with it.clearly he was a guy who likes to be chased,so i chased after him and the flirting began. he was cute, charming, funny, silly, said all the right things, and even though I'm normally a sucker for brown eyes, i became fond of his blue eyes. and after a while of teasing his lips, i finally gave into his kiss,
but sooner or later the fun had to end, and although it took me 20 mins to say goodbye, i had to walk away and just wonder what i was leaving behind.
as i went hope, i thought what i great night. what a break from reality. how sweet of a night, but although i knew that everything between us, would remain in that night. i wondered why can't we take that cup of sugar and make it last forever. okay maybe not forever, but maybe make it last longer then we expect.
but i did learn an important lesson from this
i learned to be more humble, and to appreciate something in the moment, and appreciate for what it is, for nothing More and nothing less. to expect nothing less, and especially nothing more. because life he's fully of sweet surprises. he was just one more. and perhaps my next cup of sugar, will last a little bit more.
People experience and overcome some amazing things all in which are stories waiting to be told. My mission is to write about the untold stories of people. My second mission is to share with you my experiences by reviewing the random and interesting places I find myself getting into.
