People experience and overcome some amazing things all in which are stories waiting to be told. My mission is to write about the untold stories of people. My second mission is to share with you my experiences by reviewing the random and interesting places I find myself getting into.

Jazz Reggaefest: Jam Day
As I walked in I saw the stage from afar, but could hear the music as if the performers were right next me. People were everywhere. Some laid on the grass, soaking in the rays of the sun, and floating on the rhythms of the performers. Others were scattered between the vendors and food booths. Some of the various vendors included soterik.com. endlesscouuture.com, one tree designs, Peace Jewelry and many more. It was a concert and out door market all in one.
There was this feelings of comfort and relaxation through the festival. Music could be heard throughout the festival. No matter where you went you met by rhythms and beats from the performers. Some of the many performers include Little Dragon, Pharoh Monch( who became one of my new favorites), Talbi Kweli, and Lupe Fiasco.
Fiasco, was the last performer of the night, and his energy and dedication to his audience and fans was evident from the beginning of his performance to the very end. His performance included songs from his first, second and most recent album LASERS. With a mixture of old and new songs, Fiasco gave audiences a further understanding of the message and importance of his music. With songs of skateboarding, loving life and perseverance the audience was cheering and on there feet for the entire performance. And at 7 pm, when the venue was closing, lights were turning off, and Fiascos microphne was turned off, he kept to his rhythms and finshed his song.
I must congratulate the UCLA students for being able to continue to put on a great festival that is appreciated by so many fans. For 25 years people have been coming to the Jazz Reggaefest and have been able to appreciate and experience reggae and hip hop music, all because of the dedication of the UCLA students. THANK YOU
