two step

so two night go, my dance team beat jerkeez, had rehearsal like normal but the exciting part was we got to learn new choreography or choreo. choreo is one of the things that excite me about dance.
there is learning, doing and performing choreo. and yes those are all three separate things.
1. learning... is like stepping into a new world, trying on new clothes. because suddenly you have to move your body like it's never moved before. it's like my body thirst for new rhythm and it drinks up choreo
2. doing.. always the hard part, because you're doing what you're not use to, and you have to move in your own way, but still move like the choreographer which is extremely hard at times
3. performing.. when you finally have mastered the choreo, then u make it your own and perform. which is very different from just doing the choreo

then their is creating
which to me, is like an adventure, a discovery, and always changing, obsession.
its like you have to find the right movements to match the right beat, rhythm snare, and it's like a mystery, there is an unlimited number of moves one can create, the hard part is finding those moves within your body.


so shout outs to my teammate Ervin, Gerrell , Leo, Emily, iyndsy, mikey and alvin for allowing me to soak up your chroeo and see what type of creativity goes on in your head.
